It might be a good idea to drop a 'Stop' envelope into the Broomstick Bass control track so that this will happen automatically when the transport or engine is stopped. So the problem is that Broomstick is not fully releasing the last note or notes played or received from the midi track when the audio engine is stopped while they are being sounded therefore needing Broomstick's internal playback engine to be reset by issuing a 'Stop' command or by playing the exaact notes that occurred when the engine was stopped. You should see C7 or play any other key except the original one you held and 'stuck' and you will see strange chords.īUT if you play the original C you stick in the first place this will un stick it and does the same thing as pressing the 'Stop' in the Broomstick Bass interface. Go ahead and engage SONAR's Audio Engine again and play the C an octave above the C you were holding befor you stopped the engine. Now with the Audio Engine stopped you should still see one of the LED beat indicators in Broomstick Bass illuminated giving you a sign that its internal engine is still running and/or has been interrupted.
